(click on the title for the full story) Nathan Maack has officially joined the group His Messengers as their new pianist. His Messengers is a group of eight men that sing together as two quartets. The group based out of Arizona has been singing in various churches around the state for several years gaining notoriety for their smooth harmony, enthusiasm, and great arrangements of both southern gospel classics and newer songs.
Nathan will be the fill-in pianist for the group’s long-time piano player as she transitions to retirement with the group this spring. Nathan will become the full-time pianist beginning in the fall of 2012 when the group returns after their summer hiatus.
In addition to his duties as the pianist for His Messengers, Nathan will continue to work as a soloist around the country, work with Larry Bates at benefit concerts and events, and maintain his pianist role in his church quartet Desert Oasis.
